Ba Na Hills Golden Bridge of Vietnam

After the construction of Ba Na Hills Golden Bridge in 2018 Vietnam became more and more popular among the touristic destinations between travellers.

Capital of the Vietnam in Hanoi and its located the northern part of the country. If you’re coming to Vietnam from other countries with the plane you will probably land in Hanoi. Don’t worry it’s not too hard to get to the Ba Na Hills Golden Bridge. You will take a quick 1 hour 20 minutes flight to the Da Nang city. The bridge is located only 45 minutes away from the city centre with private car.

Ba Na Hills Golden Bridge is around 150 meters long and is constructed for pedestrians in 2018. This bridge opened in June 2018 and immediately became famous because of its design. There are two giant stone hands which are designed to appear to hold the bridge. Golden Bridge is made from steel painted gold, yes its name come from here. Also, the bridge loops almost back around of itself and offers a spectacular view for its visitors.

What and Where is Ba Na Hills?

Ba Na Hill Station actually is a hill station and resort spot in the west of the Da Nang. The station was founded by the French colonialist in 1919. They built a resort to be used as a holiday or vacation location for both French tourist and authorities. It is located 1500 meter above the sea level and has stunning scenery. Golden Bridge is 25 kilometres away from the centre of Da Nang. Ba Na Hills actually an amusement park and its official name is SunWorld Ba Na Hills. It’s the best amusement park in Vietnam even the most popular area between tourist. Ba Na Hills offers perfect climate and nature for its visitor. Park is open between 07.00-22.00 and offers numerous activities both adults and children. Park is open almost every day during the year and it can hard to find tickets sometimes. Because of that, you can think to purchase your tickets before arrival. This site is good to buy tickets.

How to Go to Ba Na Hills

There are a couple of alternatives to get to the bridge. First, you can take a shuttle bus to reach the Ba Na Hills. Morning shuttle will leave around 08.00 am and evening one return around 15.00 pm. You can check the timetables from your hotel. Prices for the shuttle should be around 5-7 USD. If you don’t want to take the shuttle bus there are always taxis that get you to the Ba Na Hills. In Da Nang there are a couple of taxi companies and Dichungtaxi, Vinasun Taxi is the reliable ones.  Before taking the taxi always ask for the price. It should be around 15 USD for normal ones and 20 USD for the large ones. This prices for one-way of course.

If you want to be free you can rent a car from Da Nang. You can find worldwide car rental companies in the city. Last option to go to the Ba Na Hills is the joining a tour.

Ba Na Hills Cable Car

Actually, there is a cable car network on the Ba Na Hills. Sunworld amusement parks cable car network is in the top 10 around the world. It’s high quality, comfortable, modern and runs on 5 different lines, Suoi Mo – Ba Na, Debay – Morin, Toc Tien Waterfall – L’Indochine, Hoi An – Marseille and Bordeaux – Louvre. At the pick hourse, cable car network can transfer more than 6500 passengers per hour. Ba Na Cable Car was opened on 29 March 2013. This line has the world record for being the longest non-stop single-track cable car, more than 5800 meters.
