Because there are lots of touristic destinations close to the İzmir like Çeşme, Kuşadası, Didim, Selçuk, Foça and Dikili. Ticket prices vary based on how long you travel on the line but the average price is around 3 Turkish Lira. You can get the tickets from the airport. Don’t forget to add at least 10 Turkish Lira to your card because on İZBAN system takes at least 7-8 Turkish Lira from your card by thinking that you may go to the last station of the line and will refund on the station you get off.

Metro Lines

İZBAN operates at the part of İzmir Metro Lines ‘Metro İzmir‘. There is no separate metro line to the Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport. İZBAN by itself is sufficient for you to take to the city centre and airport.

Taxis

You can always use taxis to go to İzmir city centre or Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport but it is not really necessary. Because IZBAN suburban line mostly covers İzmir settlement area. If you had to use taxis dont forget to ask them the price for the trip before you get on.
