Is It Safe to Visit Santorini?
Yes! There won’t be any security issues in Island. but never forget drinking alcohol can cause many accidents. Especially an island like this with sharp rocks, rough geomorphology. There is also a risk for car drivers. In the island, the roads are little small than major cities which can cause some accidents while driving. You can also think to rent a motorcycle which is more secure but always risky of course.
Where to Stay in Santorini?
Imerovigli has the best hotels on the island with amazing caldera views. Here is also quiet than the centers like Fira and Oia. You have to choose between the caldera view or the beaches. Because it is not possible to have both of them at once. If you stay Fira, Imerovigli, Oia, Akrotiri and Firostefani you will have a caldera view which is really stunning but you will little far from the beaches. If you want to stay close to the beaches you should book a place on the Kamari, Perissa or Perivolos. These places can be a little cheaper than the others.
